Your Role
As a Physiotherapist, you will work in a Residential School that provides both educational and residential support to children with a range of neurological and medical needs. Your role will involve helping students reach their physical development goals through tailored therapy and support.
Duties
- Deliver group and individual therapy session.
- Working closely with other professionals to plan and prepare effective programmes.
- Collaborate with the team to meet pupils' diverse needs and support their development.
- Play a key role in implementing strategies to promote function and independence.
- Enabling students to access the curriculum fully.
- Assess and implement appropriate seating solutions.
- Plan access routes to technology, such as switching devices.
- Write reports and participate in reviews and relevant meetings.
- Liaising with parents/guardians and medical professionals as required.
- Provide high standards of physical and emotional care.
- Maintain the school environment to high standards of safety, hygiene, and presentation.
- Share your knowledge with the team and participate in ongoing staff development.
Criteria
- A professional qualification in Physiotherapy – Essential.
- Experience working with children/paediatrics – Essential.
- Passion for promoting independence through therapy.
