Your Role
As a Physiotherapist, you will work in a Residential School that provides both educational and residential support to children with a range of neurological and medical needs. Your role will involve helping students reach their physical development goals through tailored therapy and support.


Duties
  • Deliver group and individual therapy session.
  • Working closely with other professionals to plan and prepare effective programmes.
  • Collaborate with the team to meet pupils' diverse needs and support their development.
  • Play a key role in implementing strategies to promote function and independence.
  • Enabling students to access the curriculum fully.
  • Assess and implement appropriate seating solutions.
  • Plan access routes to technology, such as switching devices.
  • Write reports and participate in reviews and relevant meetings.
  • Liaising with parents/guardians and medical professionals as required.
  • Provide high standards of physical and emotional care.
  • Maintain the school environment to high standards of safety, hygiene, and presentation.
  • Share your knowledge with the team and participate in ongoing staff development.

Criteria
  • A professional qualification in Physiotherapy – Essential.
  • Experience working with children/paediatrics – Essential.
  • Passion for promoting independence through therapy.
