Position: Part-Time Clinical Psychologist
Location: Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire
Salary: £45,240 - £62,000 per annum, pro rata DOE & Level of Experience
Hours: 32 hours per week, 4 days a week (Some flexibility)

The Role: As a Clinical Psychologist, you will support young people with complex needs, particularly high-functioning Autism, Anxiety, Social & Emotional issues, and Mental Health conditions. Your role will involve using psychological models and practices to enhance cognitive and emotional skills, preparing them for adult life and independence. You will collaborate closely with parents, teachers, social workers, and doctors to achieve the best outcomes for the young people.

Key Duties:

  • Apply psychological models and practices to support young people with complex needs.
  • Enhance cognitive and emotional skills to prepare young people for independence.
  • Work with a multidisciplinary team, including parents, teachers, social workers, and medical professionals.
  • Create a supportive and positive environment for children and young adults.

Criteria:

  • Post-graduate doctoral level training & qualification in Psychology or Psychotherapy.
  • Substantial post-qualification experience with children and young people.
  • Proficient in psychometric tools.
  • Experience working with young people living with ASD and complex needs (SEMH).
  • Registered with Health & Care Profession Council (HCPC) and BPS or equivalent.
  • A Full, valid UK Driving Licence.
