As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will be a vital part of a team that offers life-changing support. You will be based in Wiltshire, with easy access from Westbury, Frome, Trowbridge, Mere, Gillingham, Shaftesbury, Melksham, Devizes, and Bradford on Avon.
Key Duties:
- Provide one-on-one and group support to individuals with mental health issues.
- Assist clients in developing coping strategies and life skills to enhance their independence.
- Work closely with healthcare professionals to deliver tailored support plans.
- Encourage social inclusion and help clients access community resources.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to the development of care plans.
- Support clients with daily activities, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
Essential Criteria:
- No previous experience is required; however, an empathetic and understanding nature is crucial.
- A non-judgmental attitude and excellent listening skills.
- Passionate about making a real impact in the lives of others.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and every other weekend as part of a rota.
