Where You Will Be Working
You will be joining an exceptional team in a Specialist Early Years Education School, for young children aged 4-11 years old.  This school provides education to children with Special Education needs, including Autism ASC / ASD and Disabilities (SEND).  Make a real difference in their lives, helping them achieve their full potential in a positive from a young age.


Your Role
You will take the lead as Classroom Teacher and create a calming, safe environment for the students to thrive.  This School offers access to a variety of excellent facilities and partners with local charities and employers to provide enriching experiences.


Duties
  • Deliver high quality teaching and learning and improve achievement.
  • Organise and change teaching methods to meet the children’s needs.
  • Manage the classroom and teach within the framework.
  • Follow policies and procedures.
  • Monitor & assess learning needs.
  • Deliver a broad curriculum with EHCP outcomes.
  • Implement Behaviour support plans along with assessment tools.
  • Encourage everyone to work to the same values and standards.
  • Collaborate with the wider MDT team including SALT & OT’s.

Criteria
  • Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Experience of working with Key Stage 3 Students.
  • Experience of working with Children within SEMH/ASC/ADHD/ Complex needs.
  • Patience, understanding, and a dedicated approach to supporting learners.
  • A passion for making a difference in the lives of young people.
  • A desire to pursue a meaningful vocation in education.
