Full Time, Permanent, Positive Behaviour Specialist job vacancy close to the Letchworth Garden City Area of Hertfordshire. 


Based within a SEN School for students with a range of disabilities.  You will be joining a highly specialised and passionate therapeutic team.

  • A relevant professional qualification working with children & young people.
  • Qualified in Behavioural approaches or Psychology would be desirable.
  • Experience of working with Children with Autism/SEND, attachment disorders & PMLD.

Your Duties

Due to a continued need for our services, your role will be to deliver a high-quality support to our Children & Young People with Learning Disabilities to ensure they pursue their life goals and ambitions. 
  •  You will monitor, quality assure and implement behaviour strategies to reduce risk.
  • Focus continuously on positive outcomes for our young people.
  • Working with external agencies and internal teams to put interventions in place.
  • Act as a role model and support the development and improvement of our teams.
  • Improve communication, sensory and mental health strategies.
  • Motivating and coaching and working directly with the children.
  • Collecting appropriate and accurate data and recording.
  • Sharing knowledge with management to ensure effectiveness of intervention programmes.
