Full Time Occupational Therapist Job Vacancy – Thetford Area, Norwich, Norfolk

Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapy Jobs Norwich Norfolk – Commutable Locations: Bury St Edmunds, Attleborough, Diss, Wymondham, Dereham, Watton, Swaffham, East Harling, Brandon, Hethersett, and surrounding areas within a 30-minute commute via the A11.

The children primarily have communication, interaction, and specific learning disabilities such as dyslexia. Some may be on the autistic spectrum or have anxieties and other barriers to learning.

Duties:

  • Provide an efficient Occupational Therapy service, ensuring continuous assessment of students' needs.
  • Assess the functional and sensory limitations of children within their academic and wider settings.
  • Write detailed reports including reasoning skills based on assessment findings.
  • Collaborate with the child, their support network, and other agencies.
  • Deliver individualized interventions within the child’s EHCP and through your own assessments.

Criteria:

  • Full driving license and vehicle business insurance.
  • A recognized degree in Occupational Therapy is essential.
  • At least 2 years of post-graduate experience.
  • Current registration with the HCPC.
  • Knowledge of relevant protection, health & safety, and legislation.
  • Experience of the Sensory Integration Theory to Level 3.
