This Service
You would be working within one of our Residential Homes for adults with a mental health diagnosis, supporting them with all aspects of their well-being and achieving their personal goals.  The Adults within this home are all over the age of 55 and some do require personal care.   Together as a team they ensure that everyone they support feels like this is their home and they feel safe and can maintain as much as their independence as possible.

Your Purpose
As  a Care & Support Worker for someone with Mental Health needs you will form a relationship with the people you support by helping them to regain their confidence and independence.  You will where possible ensure that they engage in as many social activities as possible depending on their own personal interests. 

Criteria
  •  No experience needed as such however transferable / life skills / caring personality.
  • You will be empathetic, nonjudgemental and an excellent listener.
  • You will be someone who will always advocate on behalf of the people you are supporting.
  • You will be passionate about embarking on a career to make a real difference.
