We are recruiting on behalf of a Specialist education School for children and young people living with Social, Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (SEBD), Special Educational Needs (SEN) and learning disabilities. About You / The Role
You will be an inspirational leader, or experienced Teacher looking for the next step in your career. As their Assistant Headteacher, you will work alongside the Head in helping to develop the school in accordance with their values and their development plans. You will provide leadership and take overall responsibility for Pastoral Care across the school. This will include leading on Behaviour and attitudes, personal development attendance, well being and safeguarding our pupils welfare.Criteria
- Experience with SEMH and/or ASC Education Provision.
- A recognised teacher training qualification (Cert Ed/PGCE/QTS or QTS/Teaching Diploma).
- A proven track record in teaching with a SEN environment.
- Excellent IT Skills
- Experience in a leadership role and raising standards.
- A full driving licence.
